Year 6, Eagle class participated in a training event in school this week to learn an invaluable life skill; how to 'Restart a Heart'.
Restart a Heart Day is an annual initiative which aims to train as many people as possible in CPR in one day, so that more people know these life saving skills.
Working with a team from the Fire service, who help train as many school children as possible in the UK, they now understand how they could save a life. The CPR training included resuscitation with manikins, as well as the role of a defibrillator. This also raised their awareness of where More Park's own defibrillator is kept and how the school would manage this emergency situation.
Well done Eagle class; excellent enthusiasm and focus on such an important subject.
